Cookie Policy

This page lists the cookies and similar technologies Picklett actually uses — nothing more.

Change your cookie choice

Review your selection or reject everything that is not essential.

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small text files a website can store in your browser. Similar technologies — such as local storage and session storage — do much the same job. They let a site remember things between page loads, such as the fact that you are signed in.

2. Necessary cookies and storage

These are required for Picklett to work and cannot be switched off in the product.

  • Authentication and session storage — set by our authentication infrastructure to keep you signed in and to refresh your session. Typically lasts until you sign out or the session expires.
  • Security — used to protect requests against cross-site request forgery for the duration of your visit.
  • Cookie choice — stores the preference you set in the cookie banner so we do not ask again. Kept until you clear it or clear your browser storage.

3. Analytics

Optional, first-party measurement of how the Picklett website and application are used, so we can see which features are working. It is off until you allow it, and you can change your mind at any time.

We do not use a third-party advertising or analytics network for this. Where your browser sends an opt-out signal such as Global Privacy Control, analytics stays off unless you enable it yourself.

When allowed, analytics stores a random visitor identifier (picklett.aid) and, if you arrived from a link with campaign tags, the first-visit source details such as utm_source, utm_campaign, the referring website and whether a Google Ads click identifier was present (picklett.attribution) in your browser's local storage. These record page views and clicks on key buttons (for example Get started, Pricing or a plan trial). They never record what you type, passwords or payment details, and there is no screen or session recording.

4. Marketing and advertising cookies

Picklett does not use advertising or marketing cookies, ad networks, retargeting pixels or cross-site tracking technologies. There is therefore no marketing category to accept or reject.

5. Third-party requests

Our pages load web fonts from Google's font servers, which means your browser makes a request to Google to fetch them. If you choose to sign in with Google, that sign-in is handled by Google and involves cookies set by Google in your browser under Google's own policies.

6. Cookies in embedded product finders

A product finder embedded on a merchant's website records anonymous or pseudonymous interaction events, including a randomly generated session identifier for that finder run, so the merchant can see how the finder performs. It does not ask shoppers to sign in and does not set advertising cookies.

The merchant remains responsible for the cookie notice and any consent mechanism on their own website.

7. Managing your preferences

Use the Cookie Preferences link in the footer, or the button on this page, to review or change your choice at any time.

You can also block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Blocking necessary cookies will stop you from signing in and will break parts of the service.

8. Changes and contact

If we introduce a new technology or category, we will update this page and, where consent is required, ask you again before it loads. The “Last updated” date above always reflects the current version.
