Acceptable Use Policy

Picklett is a business tool, and there are limits on how it may be used. This page sets out what is prohibited and what happens if the policy is broken.

Last updated: 13 September 2026

1. Scope

This policy applies to everyone who uses Picklett, to the content you upload, and to every product finder you publish or embed. It forms part of the Terms of Service.

2. Prohibited activities

You must not use Picklett to do any of the following:

  • Break the law, or promote or facilitate illegal activity.
  • Commit fraud, or run deceptive, misleading or manipulative schemes.
  • Conduct phishing, credential harvesting or impersonation of another business or person.
  • Distribute malware, viruses, or any harmful or destructive code.
  • Send spam or unsolicited bulk messages, or drive traffic to spam destinations.
  • Attack the security or integrity of Picklett or any other system, including denial-of-service attempts, scanning, penetration testing without written permission, or interfering with other accounts.
  • Gain or attempt to gain unauthorised access to any account, workspace, data, server or network.
  • Infringe copyright, trademarks, patents, trade secrets or any other intellectual property or privacy right.
  • Engage in deceptive business practices, including false pricing, fake availability, fake reviews or untrue product claims.
  • Collect personal information from shoppers or anyone else without a lawful basis, proper notice, and any required consent.
  • Attempt to bypass, reset, inflate or manipulate Picklett usage limits, allowances, trials or plan restrictions, including by creating multiple accounts for that purpose.
  • Abuse Picklett infrastructure, including automated scraping, excessive automated requests, resale of the service, or use that degrades the service for others.
  • Configure a product finder to deliberately deceive shoppers — for example presenting recommendations as impartial when they are engineered to mislead, or misrepresenting what a product is or does.
  • Upload adult content involving minors, content that incites violence or hatred, or content that harasses or threatens anyone.
  • Any other use prohibited by applicable law.

3. Fairness to shoppers

Picklett is designed to help shoppers reach products that genuinely fit their answers. You may of course promote your own products and set your own rules, but a finder must not misrepresent what it is doing, and product information shown to shoppers must be accurate.

4. Enforcement

Where we reasonably believe an account materially violates this policy, we may remove offending content, limit features, suspend the account, or terminate it, subject to the Terms of Service. Where practical and lawful we will contact you first and give you an opportunity to put things right.

Serious cases — such as active attacks, illegal content or fraud — may be acted on immediately and may be reported to the appropriate authorities.

Suspension or termination for a violation is not a refund event; see the Subscription & Billing Terms.

5. Reporting a violation and contact

If you believe a Picklett account or a published finder violates this policy, email contact@picklett.com with the details and, where possible, a link. We investigate reports we receive.

Questions about this policy can also be sent to contact@picklett.com.
